I’m a doctor of divinity with a soft spot for the edges of philosophy and the quiet spaces between traditions. But more than that, I’m a wanderer, the kind of thinker who finds as much truth in a long walk or a morning shower as in a library of ancient texts.
This space is for the sole practitioners and the independent seekers. Whether you’re pagan, of a specific faith, or simply walking your own path, you know that the “sacred” isn’t just found in a temple. It’s hidden in plain sight.
What You’ll Find Here
I believe that deep questions don’t always need heavy answers. I write for people who want to look behind the curtain of reality without losing their sense of wonder. To keep things organized, I’ve broken this publication into three distinct threads:
- Aeon Musings: These are my deep dives into the “why” of it all. We’ll explore the nature of reality and the hidden connections that bind our experiences together.
- Profoundly Mundane: The unfiltered notes of a peripatetic mind. This is where I wander through ideas, books, and curiosities that don’t quite fit anywhere else.
- Mental Bad Handwriting: Short snippets, “shower thoughts,” and daily observations. These are the small sparks of insight that pop up when we’re just living our lives.
I have a fourth thread that is a weekly proposition for you to read and consider. This one is called Beautifully Unimportant, and is a good way to reflect on the week and all that has been in it.

If you’ve ever felt like a “hermit in the world”—someone who thinks a little too much but loves the journey anyway, then you’re in good company. I typically post as frequently as I can.
I’d love to have you along for the walk.
